PAROC Pro Lamella Mat
PAROC Pro Lamella Mat are non-combustible, oriented-fibre rock wool lamella felts for insulating equipment, HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) ducts and general industrial installations. Lamella Mat felts are coated with an aluminium foil reinforced with glass fibre. This coating ensures the maintenance of the non-combustibility class and the vapour barrier function. Oriented fibre rock wool slats give the felts high mechanical strength. The special construction of the product makes it suitable for ensuring a constant insulation thickness even on duct edges. The range includes mats with densities from 35 to 100 kg/m3.
Application
Thermal insulation, sound insulation, vapour barrier of equipment and ventilation ducts for the industrial and marine sectors.
Quality labels
PAROC stone wool products are able to withstand high temperatures. Binders above 200°C begin to evaporate. The insulation properties remain unchanged but the compressive strength decreases. The melting point of stone wool is above 1000°C. Temperatures above 80°C can affect the adhesion of the coating, leaving the insulation properties unaffected. PAROC Pro Lamella Mat in particular can be used up to 500°C. PAROC Lamella Mat products have been awarded the EUCEB and RAL quality marks and are MED marine approved.
