LINK industries Paroc Pro Section 100
PAROC Section are high quality, concentrically and longitudinally cut, biosoluble rock wool pipe sections for thermal and acoustic insulation, fire and condensation protection of pipes and circular ducts in the chemical, petrochemical and process industries, shipbuilding, HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) and buildings. Standard Paroc Pro Section 100 pipe sections have a nominal density of 100 kg/m3 and can be lined with a white glass fabric with aluminium underneath (Paroc Pro Section G4). The pipe sections have a standard length of 1.2 m; available internal diameters and thicknesses are given in the tables. Paroc Section pipe sections allow quick and effective installation of pipe insulation.
Application
Thermal insulation, fire protection, sound insulation, vapour barrier of pipes and circular ducts installed on ships, in civil and industrial buildings or in industrial plants Thermal insulation, fire protection, sound insulation, vapour barrier of pipes and circular ducts installed on ships, in civil and industrial buildings or in industrial plants.
Quality marks
Paroc stone wool products are able to withstand high temperatures. Binders above 200°C begin to evaporate. Insulation properties remain unchanged but compressive strength decreases. Exposure of coatings to temperatures above 80°C may affect adhesion. The melting point of Paroc stone wool is above 1000°C. PAROC Section tiles have been awarded EUCEB, RAL quality marks and are MED marine approved.
