According to Sebastian Herkner: ‘Design needs a human touch’. In his design GENTLE, this touch is truly tangible, because of the manufacturing process. By hand, craftsmen model clay moulds for each element, into which aluminum is subsequently die-cast. Place your hand on the frame and you will feel the traces of their sculpting work. You are shaking hands with the makers, across the boundaries of time and countries.
Specifications:
Frame: Cast aluminum in a bronze finish.
Body: Wood with polyurethane foam.
Seat and base armchair: Metal frame, covered with cold foam in varying densities for optimum support and comfort, wrapped in polyester quilting, 100% cotton inner cover.
Upholstery: Composition of fabrics depends on the customer’s choice of upholstery. Leathers are either aniline or pigmented/sealed.
