Listone Giordano
BISCUIT CIVITA
Oak wall/floor tiles
Sustainable wood qualities and formal invention are balanced in Patricia Urquiola's design for Listone Giordano. Biscuit is a reinterpretation of the traditional parquet, in which the bevelling and curvature of the planks and the slight convexity of the surface create a new language. The soft cut of the planks makes it possible to play with new patterns and assemblages that, while similar to the classic motifs of old wooden floors, create modern and original herringbone, diagonal or full-length patterns. Patricia Urquiola signs Biscuit, a collection centred on the rediscovered decorative vocation of parquet and on a concept of softness with an exquisitely feminine trait. Elegant wooden shapes with gentle features intertwine to give life to a refined composition with textile references.
Finishes
Invisible Touch
Invisible Touch is the new water-based finish that is the result of years of study by Listone Giordano laboratories. It protects the wood while maintaining the typical look and colour of an untreated surface. It ensures maximum naturalness both to the eye and to the touch and enhances the natural variegations of the wood. Invisible Touch adopts Listone Giordano Crystalcare antibacterial technology.
Selections
Elegant
Mixed grain. The strips can have colour variegations and small knots. In large size strips (width from 140 mm upwards) the knots can also be consolidated or partially filled.
