Listone Giordano FOXTROT TORTORA Oak parquet

A wooden fabric that loses the traditional forms of parquet and is inspired by the works of Mies van der Rohe and Mondrian.‎ An interweaving of lines, squares and rectangles that freely juxtapose to create ever new surfaces.‎ "The starting point, as always in my designs, is to design something that is not too drawn.‎ In the sense that I prefer to look for the essence of things in my products! I believe that although my designs are contemporary, there is actually a strong sense of the classic.‎ Classical understood not as the copy of a capital or a baroque floor, but as proportion between all the parts, a formal balance.‎ That is why I thought in Foxtrot to reread the works of the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian.‎ Although extraordinarily innovative, Mondrian in himself has a profoundly Classical component.‎ Foxtrot is distinguished by its uniform, elegant yet essential appearance.‎ As one approaches the wooden surface, one discovers a geometric pattern capable of generating ever new and different plays of form by simply shifting one's vantage point.‎" Finishes Naturplus2 Matt Solvent-free paint that enhances the wood grain and is characterised by a natural matt appearance.‎ The finish uses Crystalcare antibacterial technology.‎ Selections Elegant Mixed grain.‎ The strips can have colour variegations and small knots.‎ In large format strips (widths from 140 mm upwards) the knots can also be consolidated or partially filled.‎ Further info from manufacturer on FOXTROT TORTORA Listone Giordano
