Madras® Orizzonti is characterized by a very simple and refined pattern, having two elegant opaque satin bands setting off a central band with a more luminous sparkling satin finish running between them.‎ One side is chemically and permanently treated; it shows three simple, elegant satin bands: two bands are more opaque, interspersed with a more translucent and brilliant one.‎ Effective visual obscuration and optimal light diffusion; very smooth and velvety to the touch, thanks to its low porosity, it ensures greater resistance to fingerprints and easier cleaning than traditional sand-blasted glass.‎ Technical characteristics: Base glass: float glass to EN 572, 1-2; laminated float glass to EN ISO 12543.‎ Size: 2400 x 3210 mm (useful 2360 x 3170 mm).‎ Thicknesses: monolithic float glass 4/5/6/8/10 mm.‎ Colours: extra-clear, clear.‎ Admitted processing: all mechanical and thermal processes compatible with the base material: cutting, grinding, bevelling, drilling, laminating, toughening, bending, double glazing, painting, etc.‎ Internal and external applications: partition walls, doors, furnishings, shower screens (we suggest to install the glass with the treated side outwards: the glass will keep its opacity even though the opposite side gets wet and maintenance will be easier).‎ The new Transparent Madras®: a range of textures designed to celebrate glass in all its purity and add a touch of scintillating personality to bathrooms.‎ Barely perceptible to the touch, these textures give the glass character without compromising its transparency.‎ Light is refracted by the finely textured parts to bring the entire surface alive.‎ Maximum simplicity and purity.‎ In choosing a texture, you should also keep in mind the sort of impact – greater or lesser – you want the glass shower wall or partition to have.‎ These Madras® models range from the simplicity of thin stripes to the chunkiness of 3D, from delicate nuancing to the exquisiteness of certain geometrical patterns.‎ Further info from manufacturer on MADRAS® ORIZZONTI Madras®
