MADRAS® PIXEL GRADIENT
Decorated glass
Designed to combine privacy and visual interconnection between one space and another, it only screens where necessary, thanks to its special progressive curtain-effect texture. It integrates perfectly with the best modular partitioning systems and the latest parapet supporting structures. At last, the new Madras® Pixel Gradient offers the ideal solution for those wishing to enjoy the aesthetic lightness of glass but also be protected against prying eyes on the outside. This glass has a progressive curtain-effect texture produced by exclusive Madras® satin finish techniques that enhance the luminosity of this crystalline material. The result is a pleasant feeling of privacy that also enables us to see who’s on the other side of the glass that delimits our spaces. Pixel Gradient is also precious in terms of safety in areas used by children, who can “peep” through the transparent pattern of the parapet without any risk. And Pixel Gradient is very impressive when installed in glazing units designed for LED lighting: in the dark, the light transmitted inside the glass intensifies the gradient of the texture.
Base product: float glass to EN 572 1-2; laminated float glass to UNI EN ISO 12543.
Description: glass chemically rendered permanently opaque on one side and characterized by a perfectly smooth texture featuring transparent points of gradually changing sizes to provide screened vision.
Performances: the particular structure of the texture and the process to which the surface of the glass is subjected, give rise to a graded visibility, influenced by the light intensity on the two faces also.
Sheet sizes: 2250/2400 x 3210 mm (usable: 2210/2360 x 3170 mm).
Thicknesses: monolithic float glass 4/5/6/8/10/12 mm; laminated float glass 33.1.
Colours: extraclear, clear.
Weight: 2.5 kg/m2 per millimetre of thickness.
