Motta is a stool with a polished painted steel tube frame. Seat and back in natural oak plywood.
Fruit of the collaboration between Jasper Morrison and Magis, the Motta collection of chairs and tables evolves and is enriched this year with the introduction of stools.
The Motta stools inherit from the seat the elegance and stability of a steel tube frame reduced to the essential and available in a colour palette of four colours: red, green, blue and brown. A light but solid architecture on which the seat and backrest are grafted in recycled polypropylene, in wood or in an upholstered version.
Created with the aim of offering visually light, strong yet space-saving furniture, the Motta collection is designed to be versatile and transversal, suitable for both domestic and contract spaces.
Available in two heights, the stool integrates naturally into any setting, ensuring, thanks to the support of the backrest, a perfect balance between stability and comfort.
A simple chat between Magis and designer Jasper Morrison, a reunion between old friends, after a break of a few years, as if to resume that synergy born in 1993 (with the famous bottle holder) that sealed a timeless creative harmony.
Jasper Morrison cites “the Spaghetti Chair by Giandomenico Belotti, to design a light chair with vertical legs and a small footprint”, and with him the Magis team immediately gets to work.
