Nagano Interior COUPÈ Wooden stool with padded seat

COUPÈ is a stool, with a frame in Japanese KUSUNOKI/KUSU (camphor) wood and upholstered seat in 6 different heights.‎ Originally from Miyazaki, on the island of Kyushu, where it is considered to be a sacred tree and is planted in many sanctuaries to ward off bad spirits, camphor wood is distinguished by its typical scent and contributes to regenerating forests in Japan.‎ Multi-functional, light, and ergonomic, Coupè represents the ideal seating solution for the kitchen, study, bathroom, bar, and living area.‎ The new version of the stool combines a soft upholstered seat – offered in many colourful fabrics and natural leather – with a frame in painted camphor wood in six different lacquered colours: ON_oil finish, CL MUGI (barley), TK_MISO, WO_KOME (rice), CG_SOBA, CB_KUROGOMA (black sesame).‎
