Air exchange in the home and work environment is essential for the health of people and the building itself.‎ Window fitting (tilt and turn) allows proper ventilation of the home without excessive heat loss, especially in view of winter! NAVELLO's tilt and turn hardware -available for all the company's models and standard for Novecento and Omero windows- allows classic casement opening, tilt and turn opening (by about 170 mm) and, by turning the handle to 45 degrees, opening by just 10-13 mm: the latter allows a reduced pressure difference between the outside and inside for a slow but effective change of air*.‎ All NAVELLO doors and windows also include a device to prevent incorrect manoeuvres during opening in order to guarantee maximum security.‎ To counter break-in attempts, reinforcement bolts with mushroom bolts can be added to the lower edge of the window, as well as bolts on the sides, to further secure it to the frame.‎ Finally, a deadbolt and two "tear-proof" rostrums are inserted to protect the second sash.‎ In addition to these devices, a series of magnetic contact strikes can be applied to the sashes, allowing the window to "communicate" its position: closed or open.‎ A solution to be combined with the surveillance system -to trigger an alarm when the window is opened- but also with the heating/air conditioning system, to avoid unnecessary waste! *The time for changing a volume of 250 cu.‎m.‎ of air with ventilation scissors (opening 10-13 mm) is 25-30 hours in a mild climate, 10-12 hours in a cold climate.‎
