This very special PH Grand Piano Legacy Edition is an extraordinary statement piece.‎ Selected by Tom Dixon of Design Research Studio to be featured in the Canary Wharf Penthouse project called “Home of the Collector,” this exquisite instrument is one of a kind.‎ Handcrafted details The PH Grand Piano Legacy edition was designed in 1930 by Danish design icon, Poul Henningsen.‎ Today PH Pianos are handcrafted by ToneArt, who holds the exclusive license to produce all pianos designed by Poul Henningsen.‎  The first thing one notices about this stunning piano is its beautiful transparent lid.‎ The wooden framing has been hand-carved by our artisans in a bespoke process which takes 24 working days to complete.‎ The instrument stands on elegant and stunning curved chromed legs.‎  The piano action is all-European and is an outstanding musical instrument with a warm tone and very responsive touch.‎  This specific model features black woven leather banding.‎ Its cast iron frame has a golden finish, and is offset with red felts.‎ The metal trim, including the pedals, key-bed surround, and the lid of the instrument are all in chromed metal.‎
