Dezza 60th Anniversary Limited Edition is an upholstered armchair featuring a typically modernist, elegant, and essential design.‎ The square lines of the seat are balanced by graceful curved armrests that follow the entire profile of the armchair down to the feet, lending momentum and dynamism to the whole piece.‎ The Dezza 60th Anniversary Limited Edition has a solid wood frame and is upholstered in Pelle Frau® Impact Less.‎ The cover, in Panna and Iris hues, features a previously unpublished original illustration by renowned Milanese architect and designer Gio Ponti: a pattern of 26 stylized hands, each different from the others, each with its own name and unique feature—such as "la man guantata" (the gloved hand), "la man stellata" (the starred hand), "la man rotante" (the rotating hand), "la man veggente" (the clairvoyant hand), and so on.‎ Each piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, is individually numbered, and is marked with a metal tag affixed to the back of the armchair.‎ Designed in 1965, the Dezza embodies some of Gio Ponti’s most important design principles from both a formal perspective - like the leg with its characteristic tapered triangular cross-section - and a methodological standpoint, thanks to the revolutionary modular system comprising of a limited number of pieces to assemble.‎ The Dezza sofa and armchairs, comfortable, light and very versatile, are reissued in a refined new edition that exalts their formal beauty and unique style.‎ The supporting structure is made from seasoned beech.‎ The number 12 armchair has slender armrests that make it possible to combine two or more elements.‎ The number 48 armchair has a goose down headrest incorporated in the backrest.‎ The upholstery is entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in Pelle Frau® leather for the shell and pony skin for the seat and backrest cushion.‎ Lots of different finishes available for the feet: as well as white or black lacquered wood, you can also opt for Ponti blue or Ponti green, or for Canaletto walnut.‎ Further info from manufacturer on DEZZA 60TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION Poltrona Frau
