The iconic masterpiece, the M400 staircase, is much more than a functional element: it is a true aerial sculpture that seems to defy gravity. Designed in 1966 by the visionary Roger Tallon, this staircase embodies elegance and modernity.
Initially designed for the CIFOM as part of a project exploring the applications of cast steel, the M400 staircase quickly achieved enormous success. Initially made of steel, from 1968 it was made of cast aluminum by the Lacloche gallery, which offered it in three different diameters.
Since 1986, Sentou has perpetuated Roger Tallon's legacy by exclusively publishing and distributing the M400 models (diameter 110 cm) and the TH version. Production is carried out using the original tools, in a French foundry, thus guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of these exceptional pieces.
The staircase consists of a central tube that houses a base plate and a stack of individual steps, ending with a landing step positioned at the level of the upper landing. An aluminum sheath completes the set.

The Sentou editions are not re-editions but the continuation of the production of the stairs following the same techniques and the same original tools: there is no difference between the first productions of the 60s and those of today.
