The TH staircase, an iconic masterpiece, is much more than a simple functional element: it is a true aerial sculpture that seems to defy gravity. Designed in 1966 by the visionary Roger Tallon, this staircase embodies elegance and modernity.
Initially designed for the CIFOM as part of a project exploring the applications of cast steel, the staircase quickly achieved resounding success. First produced in steel, it was later produced in cast aluminum starting in 1968 by the Lacloche gallery, which offered it in three different diameters.
In 1974, Roger Tallon created a second version, the TH model, combining aluminum cores and laminated wood steps.
Since 1986, Sentou has perpetuated Roger Tallon's legacy by exclusively producing and distributing the M400 models (110cm diameter) and the TH version. Production is carried out using the original tools in a French foundry, thus guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of these exceptional pieces.
A staircase consists of a central tube supporting a floor plate and a stack of single steps, ending with a landing step positioned at the upper landing. An aluminum sleeve completes the ensemble.

Sentou staircases are not reissues but rather a continuation of the production using the same techniques and original tools. There is no difference between the first productions from the 1960s and those of today.
