STRATO RIFLESSI #2 Sculptural cabinet with drawers configurable as a kitchen island

Riflessi #2 reinterprets the kitchen island as a reflective architectural composition, built through a layered sequence of suspended, staggered horizontal planes that fragment the perception of volume, generating a constant dialogue between solidity and immateriality.‎ The mirror-polished stainless steel surfaces, prevailing throughout the composition, absorb light and surrounding space, turning reflection into an active component of the object: the island's appearance shifts throughout the day, alternating between a compact presence and near-dissolution into its environment.‎ Within this reflective structure, elements in satin blue stainless steel are inserted, introducing a geometric rhythm and a chromatic break against the mirrored surface.‎ Behind its sculptural shell, the piece conceals a more domestic dimension: wooden interiors and integrated storage compartments emerge unexpectedly beneath the colder architectural skin of the outer composition.‎ Fully functional and configurable with integrated cooking elements, Riflessi #2 is conceived beyond conventional furniture typologies, situating itself in a territory that unites collectible design, sculpture and spatial installation.‎ Entirely handmade in Italy, the piece is part of a limited, numbered edition of 10 pieces, bearing the signature of both designer and producer.‎ Type: sculptural element, also configurable as a kitchen island with integrated cooking elements Materials: mirror-polished stainless steel, satin blue stainless steel, wood (interiors and storage compartments) Edition: limited and numbered, 10 pieces, with designer and producer signature Craftsmanship: entirely handmade in Italy Further info from manufacturer on RIFLESSI #2 STRATO
