SEMPLICE #5
Monobloc satin-finished stainless steel and marble kitchen island
Semplice #5 is a kitchen island conceived as a self-contained monolith, housing the entire washing and cooking area without ever revealing it. Closed, it reads as a silent sculpture: two marble volumes, cut and matched in bookmatching to form a continuous mirrored pattern, enclose a central body in satin stainless steel, with nothing betraying its function.
The gesture that animates it is entrusted to two sliding "U"-shaped worktops, one on each side: closed, they conceal the sink and the induction hob, returning the island to its pure volumetric form; slid open laterally, they reveal two bar or service areas, transforming the monolith into a space for conviviality.
Type: monobloc kitchen island, entirely made to measure
Exterior cladding: natural marble, cut and matched in bookmatching (species defined per individual project)
Worktop and basin: satin-finished stainless steel
Hob: induction, fully concealed
Opening mechanism: two "U"-shaped sliding worktops, one per side; when closed, they conceal the washing and cooking area, when slid open laterally, they reveal two bar/service stations
