Tesis interprets the low table as a connecting element between volumes and functions, capable of standing independently while complementing and enhancing the fluid and versatile nature of contemporary living. The design brings together materials and composition in a variety of shapes and sizes, resulting in a collection of low tables that allows for dynamic, customisable configurations or more restrained and essential solutions. Rectangular, square and angular geometries can be integrated between seating system modules or used freely as low tables, entering spaces with rhythm and functionality, in dialogue with the surrounding furnishings. In addition to the tabletop, the storage compartment beneath provides an open and easily accessible space for books or small objects, meeting everyday needs with formal continuity and visual lightness. The wide range of finishes reflects Tacchini’s ongoing material research. Wood veneers, marbles and lacquers expand the project’s expressive possibilities, creating either contrasts or tone-on-tone combinations between the top and the structure. In this way, Tesis can blend discreetly into its surroundings or stand out with bolder colours, while maintaining a balanced and distinctive presence.
