ISTOGRAM is an extremely flexible system.‎ Changing the frame dimensions and the material combination makes it possible to create infinite solutions, such as this bathroom vanity unit, suitable even for smaller bathrooms.‎ ISTOGRAM is designed to enhance Vaselli’s tailor-made vocation.‎ Clearly inspired by Tuscany, it draws from the designer’s experience with ottava rima, from which it preserves the constant of three variables.‎ Thus, ISTOGRAM presents itself as a system based on three variables, first and foremost expressed through the choice of materials: stone, wood, and iron.‎ On a design level, we once again encounter the same number of variables, represented by the Generic Function, the Specific Requirement, and the Person.‎ The Generic Function defines the structure - the frame - depending on its intended use.‎ According to the environment it is destined for, whether bathroom, kitchen, living room, or bedroom, the structure changes in materials and dimensions.‎ Then comes the Specific Requirement, which determines intervals and sub-intervals according to the precise functions of each individual component.‎ Finally, there is the Person, who may be the end user, the architect, or the designer.‎ To them belongs the true compositional play.‎ This vision makes ISTOGRAM a transversal system, suitable for every type of environment, both indoors and outdoors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ISTOGRAM Vaselli
