Vaselli POZZE Round freestanding marble bathtub

The POZZE square bathtub is made from a single block of Breccia Capraia Marble, which is then cut into four equal parts.‎ The marble chosen is one of the most variegated types from the Apuan basin, and lends a dynamic quality to the piece, with the veining that continues across the cuts.‎ The Patinato finish breaks down the texture and the surface of the material, creating a washed look and making it anti-slip, making the marble seem like fabric.‎ The contrast between the symmetry of the repeating square and the mottling of the stone, and between the severity of the polygonal perimeter and the softness of the circle described by the depression that creates the backrest: it is an antithesis that becomes harmony.‎ This is the POZZE square bathtub.‎ The precision of geometric shapes contrasted with the softness of natural lines.‎ Inspired by the channels carved in stone by water with the passing of time, POZZE gives form to bathtubs, washbasins and shower trays that encapsulate natural basins within solid geometric figures.‎ The working of the block of stone and the contrast between sinuous and straight lines, curved and flat surfaces, enhances the developing of the textures and patterns of the material that moves among the planes of the monoliths coming out of this collection.‎ The solemnity of marble, the hand of man that emulates the combined work of water and time: thus are created the forms of POZZE.‎ Forms that have a single aim, personal well-being in body and spirit.‎ Further info from manufacturer on POZZE Vaselli
