Vaselli SHIP Oval freestanding stone bathtub

The oval SHIP bathtub in polished Silver Travertine is carved from a single block.‎ The travertine is grouted on the inside to make the bathtub waterproof and left open-pored on the outside to preserve the naturalness of the material.‎ The concave profile, together with the lines formed by the stratification of the material, creates movement within the element.‎ The solid construction allows the concentric development of the layers of material to be appreciated when viewing the bathtub from above.‎ SHIP is ideal as a centrepiece bathtub, allowing its lines to be admired from all angles.‎ AQUA is the Vaselli collection most closely linked to tradition; however, it still follows the contemporary and minimal outlook that guides the other collections, and it continues to strive for functionality, even though its lines are softer.‎ AQUA - water in Latin- like the main element in the wellness area, like the water of the hot springs that gave birth to travertine, which has always been found in the temples dedicated to personal care and hygiene since ancient Roman times.‎ AQUA carries on the tradition that places stone at the service of wellness through contemporary forms and technologies.‎ Further info from manufacturer on SHIP Vaselli
