Canoa is a centerpiece made of blown, beaten glass.‎ Every work by Tobia Scarpa and Ludovica Diaz De Santillana evokes a canoe.‎ Clad in thin glass in tones of Crystal, Aquamarine and shaded pink Alexandrite.‎ Its translucent appearance is the result of the skill and hard work of the master glassblowers, who skilfully grind the glass to lend it a unique slightly slubbed texture.‎ Colors: Aquamarine On request Crystal, Pink Shapes with undulating edges stretch upwards from a solid blown glass base.‎ The transparencies are given substance by the lines and marks of the grinding wheels used by Venini’s master glass makers.‎ Edition numbered by year Further info from manufacturer on CANOA VENINI
