VENINI FRAKKI Handmade glass pendant lamp

FRAKKI is a pendant lamp made of glass.‎ Frakki is a new collection of modular lights designed by Michele De Lucchi.‎ The project stems from the meeting between the iconic design language of the architect and the historic glassmaking craftsmanship of Murano, giving life to a lighting system with extraordinary expressive versatility.‎ Frakki reinterprets the concept of modularity through the scandola, a distinctive element of De Lucchi's research and his studio.‎ In this project, the scandola transforms into a luminous glass module that, by repeating and combining, creates light, transparent, and permeable installations.‎ Made using the plate glass technique and stamped with a mold – the fracco – the glass tiles, available in two variations (one narrower and one wider), feature a three-dimensional diamond texture.‎ This processing refracts the light into delicate, vibrant reflections, enhancing the magic of blown glass and the artisanal mastery of Murano.‎ The modular structure offers endless compositional possibilities: from luminous walls to scenographic suspensions, from floor and table lamps to ethereal glass panels that redefine the space.‎ With this collection, the brand confirms its commitment to innovation, reinterpreting the concept of lighting through modules that adapt to the most exclusive contexts and transform the perception of space.‎
