BIK
Door handle without rose
Bik, designed by architect Vittorio Grassi, springs from a radical concept of simplification by subtraction, paring down to the essential. Part of the Nuda collection, the design strips away accessory components, backplates and overlay rosettes, revealing only the essential: a pure volume that interacts directly with the door, as if it were an integral part of the architecture. The handle’s design is based on the purity of the cylindrical form and the precision of its proportions. The lever merges purposefully with the base, striking a balance between strength and gracefulness. An an expression of a cross-contextual contemporary aesthetic that adapts to a variety of settings, Bik is a versatile element for the contract sector and the residential sphere alike.
The Nuda collection of handles is characterized by its patent, which allowed for the complete elimination of the escutcheon. Verum is thus able to offer a minimalism that enhances more the design of the handle and the door panel on which it is installed.
The Nuda system easily adapts to any type of door and requires no screws for fixing. From a technical point of view, the door panel only requires a through-hole without any further complex machining. Installation is quick and easy by tightening two grub screws.
The Nuda system is tested over 200,000 cycles and is therefore also ideal for use in public and contract spaces.
Nuda's functionality is guaranteed by the DIN1906 standard.
