Made of recycled lead-free crystal, the Bubble sculptures originate from a process in which the materiality of hot glass becomes an active part of the creation, enhancing both its technical aspects — such as optical qualities — and its aesthetic potential. During the shaping process, absolute control is not pursued: the natural movements of the material remain visible and play a decisive role in defining the final form. The blowing and shaping process is based on a constant repetition of the technical gesture, combined with a freer and more intuitive approach in the development of color and form. Different thicknesses, variations in temperature, and the fluid movements of molten glass make each piece unique and unrepeatable. The series created for Visionnaire consists entirely of new works, each one unique, although blown using the same technique and the same specially designed tool. The forms evoke transforming cells that divide and multiply, generating organic systems when placed together in compositions that are not rigidly ordered: distinct elements, united by a single originating gesture.
