LEGO MARBLE - Console with an asymmetrical structure composed of two overlapping elements in marble and cast aluminum.‎ The stone top stands out for its calibrated thickness and beveled legs, joined by concealed plates.‎ The metal volume, crafted using sand-casting techniques and finished by hand, introduces a material contrast that enhances the sculptural composition and the potential for varied assembly configurations.‎ The LEGO collection is characterized by the combination of two contrasting parts in different materials and with different finishes.‎ Precious and raw, refined and raw gold, shiny and matt black.‎ This apparent oxymoron results in a unity with two cores, one in metal, the other in concrete.‎ The metal is worked by sand casting: a "main model" is used to make a sand mold which will be filled with the molten metal.‎ The fine sand allows you to give a three-dimensional texture to the metal, which is subsequently polished by hand.‎ Hence, the metal is lacquered in any of the paints included in the Visionnaire metal finish selection (e.‎g.‎ gold, chrome, black nickel, etc.‎).‎ The material nature of concrete is made even more evident by means of an erosive treatment black lacquering.‎ These products (table and console) can be adjusted in size simply by fixing the fittings of the two parts in different positions.‎   Further info from manufacturer on LEGO MARBLE Visionnaire
