Woak BURLY Open back chair

Burly is an open-back chair made of solid oak, walnut or painted wood.‎ "The idea behind the pieces is to produce a familiar collection of furniture showcasing the strength and honesty of solid wood.‎ Large sections of material are abruptly transformed into thinner sections creating a contrast of thick and thin, heavy and light.‎ In the shelving system, different widths of vertical planes play with positive and negative space, visually heavy and light at the same time.‎ " Further info from manufacturer on BURLY Woak
