6x6 6x6 OUTDOOR Modular wooden system for outdoor use

From the collaboration between Italian company Cesare Roversi and architect Nicholas Bewick, 6x6 was born: an open solution using a system of natural wood frames, customizable with various finishing materials and accessories, to create unlimited furnishing configurations and space dividers suitable for any type of space.‎ Thanks to its connection system, the iconic joint, the structure and components can be easily assembled and disassembled for future adaptations.‎ The innovative joint, invented by architect Nicholas Bewick, with its oval shape creates an elegant detail for connecting the laminated wood slats.‎ 6x6 Outdoor is conceived as a modular micro-architecture based on a system of larch frames, becoming a device for inhabiting urban space: a hybrid place between indoors and outdoors, designed for relaxation, work, and bookcrossing.‎ Because it is modular (made in 2x1.‎8m modules), it can be designed in multiple configurations.‎ The project features water-repellent fabric roofing in the central spans, while the infill panels are made of opal polycarbonate at the top and double-sided phenolic panels at the bottom.‎ The system's customizable nature allows for any type of finish, taking into account outdoor exposure.‎ RECOMMENDED STRUCTURE FINISHES: Larch, Mahogany, Cedar.‎ Joint cover: Aluminum Further info from manufacturer on 6x6 OUTDOOR 6x6
