Actis' Boost'r Hybrid' is a breathable, heat-reflective, cellular insulation with integrated HPV screen.‎ Its intrinsic thermal resistance value is R=3.‎20 m²K/W; with two air gaps, the value becomes R=3.‎95 m²K/W.‎ It can be used to insulate roofs, attics, false ceilings, walls and façades, both in new buildings and in renovations.‎ Boost'r Hybrid consists of layers of polyethylene film alternating with sheets of pure aluminium, which reflect thermal radiation, providing particularly high insulation even at low thicknesses.‎ Boost'r Hybrid' is a dual-action insulation solution: it eliminates thermal bridges and cold air infiltration that can cause heat loss and ensures perfect breathability, reducing the possibility of mould formation due to condensation.‎ With Boost'r Hybrid, the number of installation operations is reduced to a minimum and the result is a low-thickness insulation system that is easy to handle on site.‎ Thanks to its special composition without irritating materials, it does not require personal protective equipment.‎ It can be installed using staples or nails and is very easy to cut with a cutter, thus avoiding waste.‎ In addition, this heat-reflective insulating membrane is guaranteed over time and, even after many years, does not generate thermal bridges caused by sagging, contraction or deformation.‎ Furthermore, its special finish guarantees emissivity throughout the life of a building.‎ Boost'r Hybrid' is an insulator tested and certified in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 22097:2023 (which replaced UNI EN 16012+A1) and is the new benchmark for determining the thermal performance of reflective insulation products.‎ Further info from manufacturer on BOOST’R HYBRID ACTIS
