ORIZZONTE URBANO

The ORIZZONTE URBANO model is a horizontal-rail balustrade, designed for urban applications such as pedestrian walkways, cycle paths, urban area boundaries, and parking areas.‎ It is a contemporary and functional design element, created to blend harmoniously with its surroundings while ensuring both safety and aesthetics.‎ It has a height of 1200 mm from the walking surface and an average weight of 14.‎6 kg per linear meter.‎ The Orizzonte Urbano system can withstand a thrust of 3 kN/m with a centre-to-centre distance between uprights of 1200 mm, whilst with a thrust resistance of 2 kN/m, we can achieve a centreto-centre distance of 1500 mm.‎ The ORIZZONTE URBANO features single-blade upright posts made of EN AW6082 T6 aluminium alloy with a flat cross-section, inclined at an angle of between 10 and 13°, suitably shaped and drilled to accommodate the handrail assembly, consisting of a pair of 45 mm diameter aluminium profiles.‎ The infill is made of horizontal rails, also in aluminium, with a diameter of 20 mm.‎ The uprights are secured to the support base by means of a 15 mm thick aluminium plate welded to the upright.‎ All fasteners and anchoring plugs for the structure are made of A2 stainless steel.‎ Where necessary, the handrail may feature appropriate cut-outs to accommodate LED lighting.‎ The ORIZZONTE URBANO, the flagship product of the “ARCHITECTURAL STREET BOLLARD” range, is a contemporary and functional design element, conceived to blend seamlessly with its surroundings whilst ensuring high standards of safety and aesthetics; thanks to its sloping profile, it prevents climbing.‎ The upright-welded plate system also allows for rapid installation; the infill is made of round tubes inserted into specific holes in the upright.‎ The linear joints between the various tubes are formed by internal sleeves, whilst the corner joints are formed by articulated elements machined from solid aluminium.‎
