Askia THE CATCHER Low felt coffee table with castors

The Catcher is a series of tables with a double purpose.‎ In addition to their primary function, they are designed as boxes that absorb the various sounds in a room, contributing to the acoustic comfort of a space.‎ The vertical walls of the tables are made of PET FELT.‎ This sound-absorbing material captures in its structure some of the sound waves that hit it, and the sound waves that are still reflected back in the exterior lose their intensity.‎ The corrugated texture of the vertical walls helps minimize the reflected sound waves and creates flexibility, thus having not only a decorative role, but also a highly functional purpose.‎
