BONHAM
Round metal coffee table
There is an energy that can't be seen, but can be felt. A subtle vibration that runs through matter and transforms it. This is the original idea behind Bonham, the side table designed by the CONTROVENTO team (Gabriele Chiave, Mauro Martinuzzi, Giulia Zia), a refined and powerful tribute to the music that defined a generation.
The name itself evokes a music legend – John Bonham, iconic drummer of Led Zeppelin – and the piece captures his energy, translating it into a language of design and matter. The true protagonist is the finely milled top, crafted with concentric patterns that are not merely decorative, but visually evoke sound waves. These grooves vibrate under the light, dynamically refracting it and creating a visual rhythm that catches the eye, much like a bass line or a kick drum beat.
The metal base, with its light and elegant profile, available in the titanium colour, supports the nickel-finished top with perfect balance, creating a sophisticated contrast that blends solidity and brilliance. The result is a highly distinctive piece, capable of making a timeless statement within the space.
Available in two sizes – diameter 60 cm, height 50 cm and diameter 80 cm, height 30 cm – Bonham effortlessly adapts to various environments and interior furnishing designs, while preserving its visual and tactile impact.
Bonham is designed to live alongside contemporary sofas and armchairs, yet retains the emotional charge typical of objects that tell a story. A side table that goes beyond function, becoming a manifesto of style, a visual vibration, a graphic gesture within the space.
