CASALI DERMACOLOR COOL ROOF

Highly reflective protective paint in water emulsion for bituminous membranes and metal surfaces.‎ DERMACOLOR COOL ROOF is a white highly reflective paint based on synthetic resins in water emulsion.‎ Thanks to a formulation containing special glass microspheres, it is used to protect bitumen-polymer waterproofing membranes from UV rays, significantly lowering their surface temperature (up to 40°C compared to a black membrane).‎ This mitigates the phenomenon of urban heat islands and also allows for less degradation of the waterproofing systems directly exposed on the roof and significant energy savings due to less use of building air conditioning systems.‎ DERMACOLOR COOL ROOF has been tested for its Solar Reflectance Index (SRI)*, which reached the excellent result of 103.‎5 (test report n° 313875 of the Giordano Institute issued on 05/03/2017).‎ The SRI index is a value that indicates the ability of a material to reflect ultraviolet rays, and the higher this is, the more solar rays are re-emitted by the material and therefore the less heat is accumulated and transmitted to the environments below; Test performed on Dermabit® CASALI polymer bitumen membrane.‎ DERMACOLOR COOL ROOF can also be used to protect polyurethane foam and as an ultra-reflective protective finish for Dermacem, Acryroof and Acryroof Plus liquid waterproofing systems.‎ Advantages Maximum reflectivity and UV protection of bitumen-polymer waterproofing membranes and metal surfaces.‎ Less degradation of waterproofing systems.‎ Considerable energy savings on air conditioning costs.‎ Average consumption 0.‎4 kg/m2 for a sandblasted membrane 0.‎6 kg/m2 for a slated one Colours White
