Sunlit is an hand knotted rug in wool and silk.‎ Goodweave certified.‎ Deirdre has always been fascinated by “the light patterns the sun makes in shallow water.‎” Here perfectly rendered by the selection of alternating coloured wools and a corresponding silk.‎ Deirdre Dyson’s new 2022 collection, ‘All at Sea’ is the result of the metaphorical and literal disconnect from ‘normal’ life that took place during the height of the Covid pandemic.‎ As Deirdre explains, “During one of the lockdowns I found myself marooned on a boat for nearly three months”.‎ Deirdre’s muse became the surrounding endless sea resulting in nine dramatic new rug designs which she introduces in this short film.‎
