DERBIGUM® Safe

The traditional application of flameproof systems is unpleasant, with noise, fumes and smells causing intolerable discomfort, disturbance and risks.‎ This problem is solved with the DERBIGUM cold application system.‎ The certified DERBIGUM membrane is applied with a special adhesive without the use of open flames, eliminating heat, odours and fire hazards.‎ The DERBIGUM cold system is also ideal where the use of open flames is not permitted, due to the structural characteristics of the building, the indoor activity or the proximity of highly flammable products.‎ In addition, the DERBIGUM® Safe cold system guarantees the sectorization of the roof thanks to the total adhesion of the sealing element to the substrate.‎ The DERBIGUM® Safe cold system is therefore ideal for green roof design, as it meets the requirements of UNI 11235 which regulates the subject.‎ DERBIBOND NT is the bituminous adhesive for cold bonding VOC-free (Volatile Organic Compounds) bituminous waterproofing membranes and bituminous substrates.‎ DERBIBOND NT forms an intermediate waterproofing layer between the substrate and the waterproofing membrane.‎ Advantages - Perfect and total adhesion - Better waterproofing thanks to the mixture of selected bitumen and polymers (*) - Suitable for most existing substrates and insulating materials - Ready-to-use product - Non-toxic and non-harmful - Easier to use - Fast and effective - Environmentally friendly: available in 1000 kg cubitainer - Proven technology for more than 70 years; experience of more than 50.‎000,000 m² - More safety thanks to cold application - Unlike flame application, it keeps the characteristics of the membrane intact - Reduction of irregularities in flame application - Allows for corrections during laying - Remains elastic and absorbs thermal shocks.‎ It also allows small settling movements of the building or waterproofing membrane - Application of DERBIBOND NT results in an additional waterproofing layer.‎ Consumption ± 1 kg/m² depending on the type of substrate Accessories - notched trowel - Spraygun Cleaning Water thinner Packaging Milk of: 25 kg Cubitainer: 1000 kg The 25 kg cans come with a polyethylene Ecosac.‎ The Ecosac allows the can to be kept clean during and after use.‎ Chemical waste is limited to the Ecosac.‎
