Eleni Decor
Eleni Decor, a company of reference in Italy in the production of insulating decorative elements for facades, offers several functional and economic solutions.
1.When the existing sill is not removed
A simple and effective solution, when you do not want to remove the existing sill or dismantle it together with the window frame to replace it with another, is to cover it with another sill made to measure by Eleni Decor. The new window sill will enclose the old one, going against the window frame and thus creating an insulating encapsulation of the element.
2.When you want to keep the marble or stone sill
In this case, the existing or new stone sill will be raised, inserting a sheet of very high density polystyrene between it and the wall, thus stopping the thermal bridge. In addition to this, a decorative sill with a header vault and rebated cutout will be placed under the stone sill.
3.When the old sill is to be removed
In this case, a custom-made sill with header vault and cutout cutout incorporated into the window hole is created.
4.When you want to recreate the historic bound window sill
In this case, the old window sill is scanned and faithfully reproduced with insulating materials and then covered with a stone-effect paintable plaster.
Eleni Decor window sills consist of an EPS (expanded polystyrene) template treated with resin (fibred plaster) for exterior application. They are insulating, easier to install and much cheaper.
