Smoke from a burning fire constitutes a tremendous threat to human health and life.‎ Over 90% of fire victims die from smoke inhalation and consequential poisoning and not, contrary to popular belief, exposure to high temperatures or direct contact with fire.‎ Smoke and emitted heat lead to significant material losses in the buildings engulfed by fire.‎  By using the right smoke and heat ventilation systems, the hazards created by their concentration can be largely avoided.‎ The FSP smoke ventilation window operated from a control unit, co-operates with smoke sensors and alarm button, creating so called gravitational smoke and heat extraction system.‎ This system is used in public utility buildings (especially in staircases, multi-apartment building, hotels etc.‎)
