Forster Thermfix vario is a thermal brake system for curtain wall and sloped glazing, based on mullion-transom construction and dry glazing.‎ The supporting static function is assumed on the room side by arranged steel and stainless steel profiles with a face widths of 45 or 60 mm.‎ The robust profiles with depths from 50 to 150 mm permit constructions of large elements with heavy glazings, up to 500 Kg.‎ If necessary the system can combine curtain wall with sloped glazing elements and it’s also possible to insert Forster Unico opening partitions (windows and doors).‎ The system is fully certified with top level performances, it has been successfully tested for burglary-resistance (class RC3), bullet-resistance (FB4 NS) and fire rated (up to EI90).‎ Technical details: -      Thermal insulation: Uw up to 0.‎49 W/(m2K) -      Sound insulation: up to 45 dB -      Air permeability: AE (>600) -      Resistance to wind load: up to 3,0 kN, safety load 4,5 kN -      Watertightness: class RE1200 -      Dynamic watertightness test: 1.‎125 Pa -      Impact resistance: class I5/E5 -      Burglary-resistance: class RC1/2/3 -      Bullet-resistance: class FB4 NS -      Fire-protection: E30/60/90, EW30/60 and EI30/60/90
