GE552 is a family of energy meters to be used for direct measurement of heating and cooling consumption in centralized installations with zone distribution.‎ All the GE552 energy meters have a double register and can therefore be used for measuring both the heating and the cooling energy.‎The GE552 meters are MID-certified (2004/22/EC Directive) and ready for the centralization of consumption data according to the M-Bus standard, thanks to the integrated communication interface.‎ Two pulse inputs allow to transfer via M-Bus also consumption data for sanitary water measured by volumetric water meters with pulse output.‎ The device power supply is via long-life batteries.‎
