DK window handle
DK window handle with lock
The number and type of break-ins throughout Europe show that often, windows and balcony doors are not sufficiently protected against burglary attempts. HOPPE hammers are equipped with various techniques that hinder common burglary methods, e.g. a locked hammer, equipped with Secu100® + Secustik® technology, opposes traction and rotation with a force of up to 100 Nm. In addition, the patented Secustik® technique protects an unlocked window from another method of burglary: moving the fitting from the outside so that the hammer is in the open position. Hammers with the new SecuSelect® special attribute are also available with this combination of protection techniques: thanks to the position of the cylinder in the escutcheon, the window remains securely locked even if an attacker manages to remove the hammer. Burglars have a particularly difficult time when faced with locked hammers equipped with Secu200®, as they guarantee resistance up to a force of 200 Nm, even if an attempt is made to lift the hammer by drilling a hole under the escutcheon. The SecuDuplex® hammer combines two techniques: the DK hammer with push button and the DK hammer with cylinder. With this dual function it is only possible to turn the handle if the push-button-cylinder is unlocked and pressed while turning the handle.
