POLYPANN - TEGOLA
POLYPANN - TEGOLA is a sheet for "undertile" thermal insulation of roofs, made of single-layer extruded polystyrene, with an extrusion skin and with 4 fluted edges. The sheets have two longitudinal grooves on the extrados surface for micro-ventilation and transversal grooves prepared for the interlocking of the tile tooth. The sheets declare compressive strength values ≥ 300 kPa, and have a width of 630 mm and thicknesses available from 40 to 120 mm. The sheets are fire-rated EUROCLASS E according to European standard EN 13501-1. The length of the panel is variable depending on the tile pitch. Up to a tile pitch of 350 mm (inclusive), the tile pitch is to be multiplied seven times, from a tile pitch of 352 mm onwards it is to be multiplied six times. The depth of the grooves is 15 mm.
The installation takes place by positioning the width of the slab (630 mm) parallel to the eaves line. The slab therefore has two grooves for ventilation which are parallel to the long side, while the grooves for tile attachment are parallel to the short side. An exception is the 315 mm pitch slab, the 630 mm side of which is laid perpendicular to the eaves line.
Since the distance between the two ventilation grooves is 315 mm, any POLYPANN - TEGOLA sheet can also always be laid with the short side (630 mm) perpendicular to the eaves line because, by doing so, the ventilation groove becomes the 315 mm pitch tile attachment groove.
POLYPANN - TEGOLA applications: insulation of pitched roofs with tile attachment
EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE POLYPANN - Extruded polystyrene sheets (XPS).
POLYPANN: Extruded polystyrene sheets are one of the most popular thermal insulators, thanks to their extreme versatility. The rigid foam is closed-cell honeycomb, the structure of which gives the sheets high compressive strengths of up to 700 kPa. The sheets are extremely lightweight, as 97% of their volume is air and they are CO2-expanded. These characteristics, together with the fact that they are 100% recoverable and recyclable, make them the ecological insulation par excellence. In addition to being an excellent thermal insulator, extruded polystyrene does not absorb water and is vapour permeable. It is suitable for thermal insulation of inverted roofs, basement perimeters, pilotis floors, thermal bridges and under foundation rafts.
