STIREN X - FRE is a thermal insulation sheet made of yellow, single-layer extruded polystyrene, without an extrusion skin and with 4 straight edges.‎ The sheets declare compressive strength values ≥200 kPa, and have a width of 600 mm, length 3000 mm and thicknesses available from 25 to 80 mm.‎ The slabs, which are fire rated EUROCLASS E according to European standard EN 13501-1, are milled on both faces for the best adaptability to surfaces and easy adhesion of adhesive or plaster.‎ Applications with STIREN X - FRE: thermal bridge insulation EXTRUSED POLYSTYRENE Stiren X - Extruded Polystyrene Sheets (XPS).‎ STIREN X: Extruded polystyrene sheets are one of the most popular thermal insulators due to their extreme versatility.‎ The rigid foam is closed-cell honeycomb, the structure of which gives the sheets high compressive strengths of up to 700 kPa.‎ The sheets are extremely lightweight, as 97% of their volume is air and they are CO2-expanded.‎ These characteristics, together with the fact that they are 100% recoverable and recyclable, make them the ecological insulation par excellence.‎ In addition to being an excellent thermal insulator, extruded polystyrene does not absorb water and is vapour permeable.‎ It is suitable for thermal insulation of inverted roofs, basement perimeters, pilotis floors, thermal bridges and under foundation rafts.‎
