The 'H' block is an innovative ISOTEX product. It is the best way to create an outer shell that protects against graphite insulation on the inside.
This feature ensures maximum product durability and prevents damage.
It is precisely the shape of the block that makes it possible to achieveexcellent, low-maintenance protected insulation. In fact, the layer of insulation, which can be up to 18 cm thick, is covered by a layer of wood cement, which guarantees maximum protection, while also allowing transpiration.
Research and innovation have led ISOTEX to the study and realisation of a new block model, with outstanding thermal insulation characteristics and load-bearing capacity, which is increased by 45%.
ISOTEX has designed and produced the new blocks with 2 ribs instead of 3, obtaining a continuous and homogeneous layer of insulating material. The new block model is structurally better than the previous one:
The concrete pillars formed during casting are perfectly aligned with a constant width in height, unlike the previous one which had narrower pillars with irregular heights. The new model thus allows for a 45 per cent increase in the area of the pier with a 45 per cent increase in the load-bearing capacity of the vertical loads.
The length of the stringers that horizontally connect the vertical pillars has been reduced by half, and their strength has increased by 30%.
The walls made with the new blocks, on the basis of the experimental tests carried out, have rigidity with greater resistance to horizontal thrusts in the plane, reduced deformations and good ductility.
