IVAR UNIMIX - Радиантная панель
UNIMIX is a regulation unit designed to deliver water from a high temperature generator to the most suitable temperature for distribution in radiant circuits. All essential functions are achieved by just two components: mixing, boosting, drain/ filling, air purge, shutoff, temperature monitoring and safety shutdown. Mixing is performed in a 3-way valve controllable from a fixed point or using climate compensation. Management of the radiant system is completed with distribution manifolds and relative accessories. It is also possible to divert a direct branch upline of the mixer thanks to a special set of manifolds, which can be selected either as simple versions or with shutoff valves. All UNIMIX components are available with pre-formed insulation casing, which makes the system suitable for applications in heating or cooling.
Power (*): approx. 15 kW.
*Boiler temperature 60 °C; flow temperature with radiant system 40 °C with temperature variation of 7 °C; 8-way distribution manifolds
PLUS
• Compact system for radiant heating and cooling
• Fixed point or climate control
• Three-way mixing control valve
• Manifold kit with dedicated straight branches
Unimix
Distribution manifolds can be connected to this unit: flow (upper) manifold is equipped with FLUXER devices for balancing and measuring flow rates of the individual circuits. Return manifolds are equipped with shut-off valves, which can either be manual or controlled by electrothermal actuators making them suitable for zone management via room chronothermostats.
An electronic circulator pump with adequate pressure head is installed in the proper housing and then programmed to operate at fixed pressure head, so to ensure that the possible closure of one or more circuits does not affect open circuits' flow rates. Equipped with insulation shell and dedicated electronic controllers, UNIMIX is also suitable to supply cooling systems.

In mixing and booster units, the use of a three-way mixing valve is a solution which makes delivery temperature control quicker, thanks to double regulation effect: the opening of one input in fact corresponds to closing the other one.
UNIMIX and UNIMIX-C are systems with a three-way mixing valve, controllable with a fixed point or with climatic compensation. Regulation is particularly effective thanks to the secondary “by-pass”, an additional mixing chamber, adjustable according to the design, which on one hand increases valve capacity and on the other optimises actuator operation.
UNIMIX and UNIMIX-C can be integrated with manifold modules for direct utilities, upstream of the mixing and booster unit. Distribution to the radiant system takes place with IVAR brass or stainless steel manifolds, fitted with inserts for balancing and controlling individual zones.
UNIMIX-C is a basic unit with a mixing and booster unit for heating applications; it can be fully customised with a range accessories.
UNIMIX comes as standard with a complete set of flow and return thermometers, ball valves, water filling tap, vent valves, temperature gauge and double pit for temperature probes. UNIMIX also comes in boxes complete with manifolds and adjustment accessories, capable of meeting the requirements of most of the traditional heating and cooling system applications.
