MAREA - Стол журнальный из стекла свободной формы

Marea is a glass coffee table that has been designed to evoke the power and tranquillity of the sea through the use of precious materials and refined craftsmanship.‎ The top, crafted from moulded glass with an onyx effect in shades of light blue and blue, evokes the transparency, currents and depths of the ocean.‎ The veins, akin to crystallised waves, generate a visual movement that captures the viewer's attention and transports them into a fluid and contemplative dimension.‎ The piece is supported by two transparent and minimalist bases, almost invisible, designed to accommodate and frame the top, which appears to float and flutter on the vastness of the water.‎ The structural peculiarity of the coffee table lies precisely in its interlocking design: the top fits precisely into a recess in the two legs, creating a natural suspension effect.‎ Marea represents the equilibrium between design and poetry: a piece of furniture that becomes the breath of the sea, engulfing and dissolving human frenzy and accompanying meditation.‎ In the Kimeya Nature collection, the four elements – air, water, earth and fire – are represented through a balanced combination of shapes, textures and reflections.‎ The medium of glass is rendered fluid, reminiscent of water; light is depicted in a dancing motion, akin to air; pigments are utilised to evoke the potency of the earth; and the warmth of the veins alludes to the energy of fire.‎ The creations are functional works of art, in which the immaterial connection between external beauty and the inner depth of the designer is perceived, and the sacredness of nature is celebrated, with the magic of transparency being played with.‎ The products are unified by a shared characteristic of vibrant contemporaneity, emphasising a journey characterised by moments of inspiration and creative gestures.‎ This journey is akin to a flow that is impossible to escape, engaging and captivating the observer between dynamism and stillness, matter and emotion.‎ Further info from manufacturer on MAREA La Gala Home
