Marini Marmi
AGGLOCEPPO®
Indoor/outdoor composite material wall/floor tiles
Aggloceppo® is a cement-based engineered material developed by Marini Marmi through the reuse of natural aggregates generated during the processing of Ceppo di Gré. The product is obtained from a homogeneous mixture composed of Ceppo di Gré aggregate sourced from the company’s quarry in Solto Collina, Italcementi 42.5 white cement, natural pigments, fibres and water.
The mixture is vacuum vibro-compacted into blocks in compliance with the EN 13748 standard, formerly DIN 18500. Following a 28-day curing period, the blocks are sawn into slabs and processed using the same techniques applied to natural stone.
The reuse of by-products generated during the processing of Ceppo di Gré reduces waste and maximises the use of available resources according to circular-economy principles. Aggloceppo® retains the material and chromatic identity of Ceppo di Gré while providing a more uniform composition.
The material is suitable for indoor and outdoor cladding, façade cladding, interior flooring, staircases and custom-made elements. The slabs can be processed using CNC machinery and completed through specialised hand-finishing.
