The HMU KXZ hydronic module is a unit designed and distributed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to provide winter heating for residential and commercial buildings.‎ The HMU KXZ is an indoor unit that can be connected to the outdoor units of the KXZ system, allowing hot water production up to 55°C for heating purposes.‎ By using this hydronic module, the KXZ system can completely replace traditional heating systems, eliminating the need for a boiler room, flue systems, and the associated costs of natural gas supply.‎ As a result, the KXZ system becomes a complete and even more flexible solution, adaptable to various installation needs.‎ A SOLUTION THAT REDUCES LOCAL CO₂ EMISSIONS AND PROVIDES HOT WATER WITH HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY The system can be used in two different modes: Water-only application: exclusively with HMU indoor units connected to the system; Mixed application: with both air-to-air indoor units and HMU units coexisting in the same system.‎ Indoor heat distribution can be managed through underfloor heating panels, fan coils, or air-based heating units.‎ AVAILABLE SIZES 14 kW 28 kW Maximum efficiency even with outdoor temperatures down to -20°C.‎ Hot water temperature in water-only mode of 55°C.‎
