Moorgen BRANCH AND SHADOW Building automation system interface

The Kengo Kuma BRANCH & SHADOW Series is a collection of smart panels developed by Moorgen in collaboration with the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, internationally recognised for his ability to integrate architecture, nature and natural materials into a contemporary design language.‎ The series reinterprets smart home control through a vision that prioritises lightness, harmony and connection with the surrounding environment.‎ The design draws inspiration from the concepts of branches and shadows, recurring elements in Kuma’s work, where light filters through lightweight structures, creating depth, transparency and dynamic relationships between space and nature.‎ The panel translates these principles into a minimalist and refined interface, designed to blend discreetly into contemporary interiors rather than imposing itself as an alien technological element.‎ Kengo Kuma’s design philosophy is rooted in the search for a balance between innovation and tradition, between the tangible and the intangible.‎ Through understated forms and meticulous attention to detail, the smart panel becomes an extension of the architecture, helping to create more harmonious and human-centred environments.‎ Integrated into the Moorgen home automation ecosystem, the system allows users to manage lighting, scenes, blinds, climate control and other smart home functions via an intuitive and customisable interface.‎ The aim is not merely the technological control of the environment, but the creation of a more natural and seamless living experience.‎ Designed for luxury residences, hotels, yachts and high-end contract projects, the Kengo Kuma collection represents the convergence of one of the most important names in contemporary architecture and Moorgen’s technological innovation, transforming the smart panel into a genuine architectural element.‎ Further info from manufacturer on BRANCH AND SHADOW Moorgen
