Phantom Hands X+L 07 Teak wall shelf

The X+L 07 book shelf was originally designed and produced by X+L in 2003.‎ This 2021 re-edition is handcrafted in solid teak.‎ Signature design elements include the architectural book-end which is completely shaded by hand and stained black, and the finger joints at the corners of the shelf.‎ The body of the book shelf is finished with transparent wood polish and sealer to bring out the natural golden brown colour of teak.‎ The X+L collection consists of objects designed by Dutch design duo Xander Vervoort and Leon van Boxtel.‎ The objects in this collection are inspired by X+L's interest in art and architecture, as well as their deep appreciation of simple, honest materials and structures.‎ X+L’s distinctive aesthetic, recycling and zero waste are important themes in the creation of some of the objects in this collection.‎ Further info from manufacturer on X+L 07 Phantom Hands
