SKUDO - Защитный элемент для гидроизоляции

SKUDO is a recycled polypropylene element suitable for protecting the waterproofing of walls against the ground.‎ Thanks to its solidity, it guarantees resistance to compression and downward dragging due to ground settlement, thus preserving the waterproofing layer over time.‎ In addition, its height creates an excellent air chamber for ventilation and excellent separation from soil moisture.‎ Technical characteristics: The support bases, equal to 755 cm²/sq.‎ of surface area, are shaped in such a way that they do not cause any damage to the waterproofing layer.‎ The height of "sKUDO" (7.‎5 cm) combined with the special shape made up of truncated cones and pyramid trunks creates an air chamber of 65l/sq.‎m.‎ This volume of air ensures excellent ventilation, while at the same time separating from the dampness of the soil, thus eliminating the gravel.‎ A very important solution is the creation of a channel at the foot of the wall for collecting drained water, on top of which "sKudo" will be placed.‎ The shape and type of material from which "sKudo" is made, guarantee resistance to whatever type of soil is used for backfilling.‎ The special interlocking system allows for quick and easy laying (see laying diagram).‎ To ensure vertical and horizontal adhesion of the assembled elements, dowels will be inserted into the appropriate slots during laying.‎ An "L" profile applied directly to "sKudo" will be positioned to close the corners.‎ A flashing or closing grille will be placed over the last element (to be paid for by the client).‎ If necessary, "sKudo" can be cut with a normal hacksaw or disc grinder.‎ "SKUDO' can also be used in retaining walls without laying the waterproofing layer.‎
