Saint-Gobain Glass MASTER-SOFT® - Печатное стекло
The latest addition to the MASTERGLASS range, MASTER-SOFT®, abandons the idea of traditional moulded glass to surprise and seduce. Or at least that was the stated aim of the two designers Savinel and Rozé who redesigned this material with great sensitivity.
The aim was to offer a completely new tactile experience on glass. MASTER-SOFT® is now part of the line of opaque and velvety effects that are widely used in interiors today. The effects of this material are inspiring.
A fine-grained printed 'quilted' pattern
The material has a soft, flexible and very fine-grained surface consisting of two diagonals. The effect is striking and reveals small, clearly drawn 3D motifs. A soft appearance accentuated by a completely matt effect. This tactile material catches the eye and invites you to touch it, thanks to a micro-texture that covers the surface and creates a regular pattern with a very sensory effect.
A graphic effect that creates a sense of intimacy
With two lines crossing at right angles, the completely matt surface conceals the view and prevents you from looking through. Moving people and static objects are blurred, creating an unusual graphic effect.
A wide range of uses: from interior architecture to design
By combining volumes and materials, MASTER-SOFT® offers a new repertoire for architects and designers alike. With a new and elegant appearance, it can be used in interior and exterior architectural elements, doors, partitions, shower and bath panels, windows, parapets, etc. Like the other glass in the MASTERGLASS range, MASTER-SOFT® is highly technical: it can be tempered and curved. The 8 mm thick version can also be used to make frameless glass, e.g. for showers and partitions. MASTER-SOFT® can also be lacquered, with the possibility of an infinite number of coloured creations.
